Forescout Reports Strong Growth and Profitability in FY2025

Forescout Technologies reported strong financial results for fiscal year 2025, highlighting continued profitability, customer growth, and momentum in large enterprise deals as demand for cybersecurity solutions remains high.

The San Jose-based company said it added more than 230 net new customers during the year and closed 58 deals valued at $1 million or more, a 26 percent increase compared to the previous year. Forescout also remained cash flow positive for the third consecutive year and exceeded the so-called “Rule of 40,” a key benchmark that balances revenue growth and profitability.

The company pointed to strong performance across several sectors, with financial services revenue growing 25 percent year over year and healthcare increasing 24 percent. The EMEA region also saw solid gains, with revenue up 18.5 percent. Gross dollar retention reached 91 percent, reflecting stable customer relationships and ongoing demand for its platform.

Forescout’s technology focuses on providing visibility and control across IT, operational technology, Internet of Things, and Internet of Medical Things environments. The company says it monitors more than 39 billion data points globally, helping organizations identify and manage both known and unknown devices connected to their networks.

CEO Barry Mainz said customers are increasingly looking for practical ways to reduce cyber risk across complex environments.

“Organizations want visibility and control across every asset on their network, along with the ability to respond as risk evolves,” Mainz said. “We are helping customers limit the impact of modern attacks by automating containment and reducing lateral movement across networks.”

He added that the company’s growth in 2025 was driven by both product innovation and operational discipline, positioning Forescout to address emerging threats tied to artificial intelligence and future cryptographic risks.

During the year, Forescout launched Forescout eyeSentry, a cloud-native exposure management solution modernising how enterprises uncover and mitigate hidden risks across IT, IoT, and IoMT environments.

The company also introduced technology aimed at identifying non-quantum-safe encryption, as organizations begin preparing for potential future threats related to quantum computing.

In addition, Forescout announced partnerships and integrations to strengthen its capabilities in securing critical infrastructure and industrial environments. This included collaboration with Xage Security to enhance secure access in operational technology environments and an integration with NVIDIA’s BlueField platform to support large-scale network monitoring.

The company also expanded its board of advisors with the addition of cybersecurity experts including Chase Cunningham, widely known as “Dr. Zero Trust,” and Robert J. Skinner.

Forescout’s performance was recognized with a range of industry awards and honors in 2025, including the Frost & Sullivan Global Product Leadership Award for its approach to medical device security and Cybersecurity Excellence Awards for its OT, IoT, and IoMT security solutions.

The company was also named a Market Leader in Cyber-Physical Systems Security at the Global InfoSec Awards and received a Globee Award for its threat intelligence work through Vedere Labs. In addition, Forescout earned recognition in the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Cyber50 Awards and maintained its Professional Services certification under the Service Capability & Performance standards for a second consecutive year.

Forescout will be showcasing its latest innovations at RSA Conference 2026, March 23-26. Visit us at Booth #6570 in the North Hall of Moscone Center, San Francisco, Calif.
